I've made a few videos with this steps with no good results. But finally I've succeded and I'm posting this tutorial. The steps to follow are almost the same of classic rotoscoping, but there is no need to create a mask for the saber: Just chroma key it and see the video to know how to get that "white saber" automatically. Pros: - No rotoscoping needed. - A lot easier and faster.
