Video is unedited recording of using a Thinvnc from a Chromebook (Samsung) running Chrome 15. The remote server is Windows Home Premium on a Smasung SF310 and the connection is all wireless. The server is running at a higher resolution than the Chromebook so there is screen scaling. 1) Note the ability to almost show moving youtube content. 2) Latency on key strokes in Visual Studio is low enough not to be a show stopper. 3) Thinvnc client gets faster and faster the longer it is up (within limits) as the Chrome V8/Crankshaft compiler uses realtiime analysis to make better compilation choices. I believe this technology could be used in the cloud or running off VMs on a blade. It took some fiddling but it works very well when optimally set up. code pour embarquer la vidéo : >>> http://www.youtube.com/embed/eAaiVtHHvk4 <<< |
