In this video I'm testing my iPad's ability to work with external USB audio device via Apple Camera Connection kit. I've connected my Yamaha MW12 mixer (it has embedded USB audio codec) using USB cable to the iPad and tested how it works with Rebirth for iPad, Korg iMS-20, Korg iElectribe and with iPod app. As you can see, it works perfect. AFAIK, not all audio codecs work with iPad, but some common codecs must work.
