Tunisien/Tunisia/Sousse 1996Filmat den 1 mars 1996 och någon dag därefter. Visar en attans så girig tunisier som erbjöd mig jobb, men inte kunde hålla sina glödande fingrar borta från min plånbok. När kameran hade stängts av bad han att få 1 dinar (ca 7 kr) för att han ställt upp på film. När jag tog upp min plånbok och plockade fram ett endinarsmynt sträckte han in sina fingrar i sedelfacket, och ryckte ut allt som fanns där; pengar, kvitton etc. Jag hade sinnesnärvaro nog att bli fullständigt vansinnig och slunga ur mig diverse svordomar och hotelser. Slokörad räckte han då tillbaka allting, och jag kunde lämna stället. Swedish. The guy in the shop offered me a job; "We need someone who can work in our shop. Would you like to work here in Tunisia?". I replied that I had only a few more days left in the country, and that there was really no point in it. After I politely declined to buy anything from him, and switched the camera off, he asked me for the sum of 1 dinar (about 1 US dollar) for having allowed me to videofilm him. But when I took out my wallet and handed him a one-dinar coin out of it, he quickly reached his hand into my wallet, emptying it of whatever banknotes and receipts were there. I became completely furious, shouting and threatening him in various ways until he, shamefully, handed it all back to me. After storming out of the shop, I briefly explain to "the viewers" what had just transpired (with the attempted theft) as it was not captured on the film.
