2008 ARTstor legacy: Download Images to PowerPointI have an assignment for my visual studies class to investigate a single work of art in ARTstor. The first thing I'll do is open a web browser and go to artstor.org. Once that page loads I will move to the right and click on the "go" button to enter the digital library. My instructor has set aside a folder for our class so, I will scroll down this list, until I see it. There it is, Visual Studies 101. Then I will select a group and hit submit. Now I have already looked at the images in this group and I have decided that this is the one I will use for my class. I will double click on it to get it in a larger window. I will need to use this entire image for my presentation so I will move over here to the lower right and click on the download button to save it to my computer. I will accept the terms and conditions and save it to a folder that lives on my desktop. Then I will go into that folder see that two files downloaded. One is the image, and the other is caption information. I'm going to go ahead and rename both right now. Then I will go back to ARTstor and look for a detail I'd like to use for class. I'll just zoom in on different sections until I find one I like. There I think that's it, yes this is the one I'm going to use for class. Now when I download it, I will just get this detail. I will save it to the same folder. I will go back in that folder and rename these two new files as well. Now I can close this and go into PowerPoint. I already have slides set up so now I just need to insert the images. I do this by going to Insert, Picture, from File. I will select the larger image first. Now its actually is too large for my slide, so I'm going to have to resize it. Then I will do the same thing with the other slide. Again it's a little too large, so I will resize it, there. Then I can go and save my presentation and my project is done. code pour embarquer la vidéo : >>> http://www.youtube.com/embed/v1H3ix4_GUw <<< |
