Illbleed: Grand Reopening - Walk Cycle Teaser Trailer





The following programme is a short teaser trailer for another teaser trailer for a non-existant game "Illbleed: Grand Reopening." This teaser trailer is solely meant to demonstrate the finished walk cycle of the protagonist.

I created all of the protagonist's body parts (except for his head) as a single object by creating one Box Primitive with a low amount of segments and continously and carefully extruding and repositioning its vertices and polygons.

As for his head, I first created a Spline around the protagonist's head and chin and then slightly extruded it and converted it into an Editable Poly. I then continuosly and carefully extruded the vertices and polygons of that poly.

I also easily created some of his clothing (i.e. shirt, shoes) by "cloning" his body twice and erasing unwanted polygons for quick, accurate tailoring. I then carefully repositioned their vertices as desired.

After carefully modelling the protagonist's body and clothing, I then created a Skeleton Biped and carefully fitted it into the character model by individually resized each part in Figure Mode.

When I finished fitting the Biped in the character model, I created a Pro Boolean to merge all body parts as a single object. I then applied the Physique Modifier to the character model to associate it with the Biped. Finally, I carefully resized the Envelopes to make sure that no vertices are left unaffected.
