The aim is to tap into the fast growing youth market by catering specifically to the preferences of consumers in Asia. Instead of using Western design elements, Levi Strauss is developing products that focus on the fashion trends of young consumers in Asia. The core group that this new global brand seeks to attract a broader market, and as such have established lower price points for products ranging from $40 to $60. Aaron Boey, President for Levi Strauss's Asia Pacific division said, "In the last few years we seen a new group of consumers. Many of them want stylish clothes but at accessible prices."
